Your holiday is important. It is an opportunity to unwind and relax. We aim to make sure you can. Be assured your accommodation will be prepared to a high standard for your arrival. It will be thoroughly cleaned and the contents be of good quality.
On your arrival you will be given an information pack to ensure you can start to relax and enjoy planning your holiday straight away.
We have included some commonly asked questions to help you. If these don’t answer your question please feel free to ask us.
Self Catering FAQs
Q. Is Tehidy suitable for families?
A. Tehidy is close to beaches but being set a little way back from the coast we are a relaxing base. The large, central play area is popular with children and adults alike. A safe place to play and make new friends.
Q. Is Tehidy suitable for single people or couples?
A. Tehidy is a small park, with a relaxed atmosphere, in a great location. Don’t forget to let us know if you have any special requirements.
Q. Do you allow BBQs
A. Picnic benches and bbq slabs are conveniently placed. Disposable bbq’s, charcoal and lighter blocks are available in the shop.
Q. Do we have to pay for water and electricity?
A. All costs are included in the hire charge.
Q. What do we need to bring?
A. Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen can be ordered from us prior to arrival. However, if you prefer to bring your own, you will need to bring a bottom sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases. You will also need towels and tea towels. We provide washing up liquid, sponge and a toilet roll to get you started.
Q. What is in a caravan?
A. All the caravans have a well equipped kitchen, shower, WC, sitting and dining area and bedrooms, storage cupboards and freeview TV.
Q. Do the Holiday Caravans and Cottages have heating?
A. All caravans and cottages are heated.
Q. Do you have a laundry?
A. There is a laundry with 3 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and ironing facilities. Rotary dryers and washing lines are provided.
Q. Is the site suitable for wheelchair users?
A. Please note the site is set on the side of a valley and does have inclines for which wheelchair users/ those with disabilities may require assistance to access some facilities.

Touring and Camping FAQs
Q. Do you allow bbq’s
A. Picnic benches and bbq slabs are conveniently placed. Disposable bbq’s, charcoal and lighter blocks are available in the shop.
Q. Do the pitches have electric hook up?
A. All pitches have electric hook up if required. You will need to bring a standard camping 3 pin weather proof lead.
Q. Do you take motorhomes?
A. When you book a motorhome pitch through the online booking system please book it under caravan.
Q. Are facilities convenient?
A. Drinking water, grey water and chemical disposal points, rubbish and recycling facilities are convenient for each area.
Q. Do we have to pay for showers?
A. Showers are free. The shower block is no more than approximately 100m from the furthest pitch.
Q. Do you have a dish washing area?
A. The modern shower block has an indoor dish washing room with hot and cold water, it also has a freezer for ice packs.
Q. Do you have a laundry?
A. There is a laundry with 3 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and ironing facilities. Many campers dry their clothes on a rotary dryer outdoors.
Q. Is the site suitable for wheelchair users?
A. Please note the site is set on the side of a valley and does have inclines for which wheelchair users/ those with disabilities may require assistance to access some facilities.

Glamping FAQs
Q. What are our Wigwam glamping pods like?
A. Native American Indians built bark and skin clad winter quarters – shaped like upturned boats – called a Wikipee. Our version is fully insulated, made of wood and has double glazed windows, along with many other features. However they retain the character and unique charm of the original.
Q. What is in the Wigwam?
A. Our wigwam cabins have comfortable seating which convert to raised sleeping platforms. Our fully insulated wigwams have heating, lighting, electric sockets, freeview TV, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and storage boxes. Outside there is a decked area with lighting, log seats, a picnic bench and bbq. A communal cooking shelter, drinking water and rubbish/ recycling facilities are close by.
Q. What do we need to bring?
A. You’re preparing for luxury camping – without a tent. You’ll need to bring sleeping bags/ bedding, cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery, pans, towels and tea towels
Q. Do you pay for electricity separately?
A. Electricity is included in the cost of the wigwam.
Q. Do we have to pay for showers?
A. All costs are included. The shower block is approximately 75m from the wigwams.
Q. Do you have a dish washing area?
A. The modern shower block has an indoor dish washing room with hot and cold water.
Q. Do you have a laundry?
A. There is a laundry with 3 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and ironing facilities. Many campers dry their clothes on a rotary dryer outdoors.
