| Friendly staff, well maintained site, clean facilities, lovely play park. Great location. We had a lovely holiday and would love to come back to Tehidy campsite, the only slight niggle was learning that the family bathroom was specifically for families with babies, which I understand but did find it challenging as a single parent with 2 young children trying to fit us all in the cubicles in the ladies toilets. Would be great if another family cubicle could be made specifically for young families. Thank you for a great holiday. |
| We stayed at Tehidy for a week. We found the campsite to be in a great location for everything we wanted to drive to. It was really near a couple of beaches too for short trips. When we arrived the gentleman that greeted us was very welcoming and informative. The campsite itself is pretty clean and secure with an area for the bins and the toilets and showers were cleaned daily. Our pitch was nice and private with two hedges either side. The only thing that bothered us was that you could really hear the road, especially when sleeping, and a couple of other campsite members were quite loud and played music really late. This wasnt great if we had an early start. Overall though the experience was positive and we camped in a very pleasant, clean and friendly location. |

Local pub a 15 minute walk up the road with a local morrisons shop next door. Definitely value for money on this site. Definitely recommend to any families. |
| The lovely playground was a godsend for the children where they made friends and had lots of fun. The pitches were very good and well spaced out. The only criticism was the shower and toilet block, if any of the showers were being used the water flooded across the entire floor where the toilets and other showers were. Nowhere to keep your feet dry or put shoes etc. if the mop bucket had soapy water in it it might encourage people to mop up the excess water and clean the shower after use. There is not the usual grey water drain for motor homes, and we have never needed a waste water pipe from the grey water tank to empty it before. Other than those two watery complaints everything was great. |
| On arriving at the site we were struck by the very calm and welcoming atmosphere. The caravan was absolutely spotless- the cleanest caravan we have ever stayed in! The childrens park was brilliant and within only a few moments our little one was off bouncing on the trampoline and playing with other children. We visited many places during our time including the local beaches of Portreath and Port Towan as well as venturing further afield to Maenporth beach (an absolute must visit even if a distance away). Richard and his wife are the heart of the campsite and when our washing line blew over and broke in the wind it was fixed within a day with communication about the timeframe and alternative lines available. A really positive experience and we may well be back! |
| We really enjoyed our stay at Tehidy. Lovely chilled out campsite with excellent spotless bathroom facilities. Large pitches meant people weren’t on top of each other. We stayed in one of the 2 wigwam glamping pods which provide extra comfort whilst still feeling you are enjoying the outdoor life. Highly recommended. |

We had a very warm welcome, lots of useful information given and the pitch was perfect: spacious, sheltered, clean and enough ablutions. Best price-quality ratio. | What a wonderful site this is to return to. It’s clean, peaceful, with lovely private pitches. The new shower blocks are great and you can tell the whole site is run by people who care about giving visitors a great experience. |

| We like this site for its environmental credentials, including a car charger, which is currently priced at 55p/kwh which is cheaper than many public chargers but there is a  £1 connection fee each time you use it which does boost the cost up. The toilet block is modern and always kept beautifully clean. The family room was a bonus for us this time as we had our grandchildren with us – that has a changing table, baby bath and potty as well as all the equipment for disabled people to shower. We were disappointed not to get our first choice of pitch, but maybe next time. The pitch we were on this time was on the perimeter of the site so there was a lot more road noise than most other pitches, and it was more ‘open plan’ than most of the pitches which are in hedged ‘bays’ many with picnic benches nearby too. But it was a spacious pitch and we had plenty of room to park the car next to the tent. |
| We stayed for 5 nights on a medium pitch in our tent. Good points: well-established hedges around pitches made them feel private. We loved that the site was hilly- which gave it character. hot showers fantastic playground- safe and well maintained good location to use as a base easy access water points friendly owner Areas to improve: not enough hooks in showers to store items when showering internet signal wasnt great on the pitches just above the playground |
| We loved staying at Tehidy, the facilities were really clean consistently, and its such a welcoming holiday park! We especially liked the privacy of a number of the pitches having hedges to separate them! Surprisingly peaceful considering it was the summer holidays, and we even heard Tawny Owls! We will definitely return next time we’re travelling, and would recommend it to anyone! |

| We hadnt stayed in this part of Cornwall before and were really glad we found Tehidy! Great location easily accessible to local beaches and the A30 but it was the site and owners who really made it. We got advice about where to go, it was a great place for kids but the 9pm curfew was really welcomed! It was a beautiful site, lovely trees and grounds, pitched nicely organised and spacious. The facilities were amazing – play park, games room and so clean and well kept. Really recommended! |

| Tehidy Holiday Park is within easy driving distance of A30. Part of our family live close to the site which was splendid for us and them!he friendly welcome we received on arrival continued throughout our stay. The facilities and amenities were always clean and very well managed. The site is landscaped and full of various shrubs, flora and fauna. We consider that the charges, which included electricity and hot showers, were very good value… part of our stay was in Low season too!! The games room provided lots of information about local attractions. Look at the maps and explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. The area is ideal for discovering coast, country and historical heritage. The view from Carn Brea and looking towards the coast is fascinating with so many engine houses to see. | Hello, We stayed at Tehidy from 27th July 24 to 2nd August 24. We were in pitch 8 which was really nice. The campsite as a whole is really nice, well kept, clean and safe. Richard was there to welcome us and was very informative. The site is not too big and is very quiet. In terms of location it is ideal for visits to all key places in Cornwall. If I was to find one are for improvement, then an extra shower or two in the mens area would make it easier in peak times. |
| A lovely small quiet site with spotless facilities. Just be aware that the pitches are not that large if you have a fair size tent you will struggle to get your car on pitch with you. We had a lovely week and it is situated centrally to visit both coasts and will return again one day |
| Tehidy is a lovely clean. We were given a key to use the family room as we had 3 very small children. The campsite is very close to a very busy road. And there is alot of road noise but this did not effect us. Facilities and amenities are brill. Very close to a number of beaches. |

Loads of information about local amenities – we enjoyed taking the recommended walk into Portreath and using the games room in the evenings. The cottage was well equipped and pristine as always , so comfortable. Our only complaint – the week went too quickly! |
| What a lovely site. It is tucked away on a country lane and is very pretty with lots of flowers and shrubs. Plenty of parking at the entrance and it was nice not to have cars next to all the vans. They are set in tiers on the hillside with lots of grass between and space to sit out and enjoy peace in the sunshine. You have to walk up fairly steep paths to get to them so this could be difficult for people with less mobility. The caravans are all pale green and look lovely. Ours was nearly new, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Even though we had to pay for bedding it was worth it – very good quality duvets, covers and pillowcases. There were electric fires in both bedrooms in case it was cold and a main fire in the lounge. The staff were lovely, very helpful and added to our stay. We will definitely be returning. |

| Worth every penny spent to stay here, shame about the weather though (this was our third visit to this Holiday Park) The cottage could have had a wall clock instead of having to rely on a small digital clock on the oven and was there really a requirement for a dishwasher, when a slightly larger fridge/freezer would have been more beneficial |
| Stayed here for the sixth time, having camped in a tent then had a static Caravan and now a cottage, I can honestly say that this campsite is one of the best. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable break away. The facilities on the site are always clean and the owner Richard and his staff are friendly and very helpful. This is the first year I have used the laundry as I knew it would be wet when I got home, and Im so glad I did! We chose to come back after 3 years holidaying in Devon as it is a great location to get to a lot of attractions in Cornwall. Within a few minutes drive there are 2 great places to eat : Trickys at the Tolgus and Treleigh Arms both now firm favourites. The site was nice and quiet as we chose to go outside children’s holidays, but if you have children the site has a games room and trampoline etc .. I would highly recommend this site and hopefully we will be back in the future. |

| This review is very personal. I was born and brought up in the vecinity of Tehidy Holiday Park. My siblings and I left Cornwall to study and ended up living far from the area. In my case, I’ve lived in Northern Spain for decades. But while our parents were here we came back regularly but since their passing away we have not returned. Staying at THP was like being home again. The caravan we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and had all the necessary facilities. We had a warm welcome and our doubts or possible problems were well taken care of. The park is well situated to visit a wide variety of destinations, not only beaches (Sennen Cove, Perranporth, Watergate Bay etc.) but also major towns such as Truro, Falmouth and Penzance. We were able to visit those places which held a special memory for me. Congratulations to Richard and his family/team. |

| Amazing holiday park. Stayed in a caravan with family and it had just about everything we needed! Perfect spot with very nice views. Comfy beds. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely staff who tell you everything you need to know from getting around, finding nice spots etc. Cleanliness in the caravan was top notch. All facilities and amenities in the kitchen you would find, we didnt really use them much as we were out most of the time. Value for money is incredible! Truly amazing accommodation to stay at when visiting Cornwall as it is very local to pretty much everything. It was our first time visiting for my birthday and i couldnt recommend it enough. |

| The site is extremely well maintained, with beautiful plants and landscaping. All amenities close by and kept to a clean standard. The caravan itself was beautiful and spotless. We requested bedding in the caravan which was comfortable (although slightly too big on the single beds). The hosts were lovely and welcoming and you can see they take pride in their work. They had a wee play park for the kids which was an excellent bonus, only downside was the swing being out of use. Would highly recommend. |

| We’ve stayed at Tehidy Holiday Park every year for the last three years and it never disappoints. I love the fact it’s tucked away so it’s not by a main road and it means we get peace and quiet which we need. My partner and I both lead incredibly busy and stressful lives so this time away is great for us and Tehidy Holiday Park is so quiet and relaxing. It’s close by to our favourite beaches and local attractions as well as being close to petrol stations and supermarkets. It doesn’t matter when we come during the year, we can always expect the same peace and tranquillity which we have come to appreciate so much. Richard and Julia are so friendly and welcoming and they always go the extra mile to make sure you have the best holiday possible. It’s also clean, easily accessible, well maintained and safe and we won’t go and stay anywhere else now. |

| We really enjoyed our stay at Tehidy. We had originally planned to camp and the site was recommended to us by a friend. Pitches are hedged and beautiful like little private gardens. However, we ended up taking my 80 year old mum so upgraded to a caravan that seemed brand new and spotlessly clean. The site has a trampoline and table tennis table and an indoor space with various games and a book exchange. The owners are super-friendly and knowledge about the local area and the shop is stocked with essentials. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back! |
| Perfect location for exploring that part of Cornwall. There were many stunning beaches within a 20 minute drive and a country park just down the road. Toilets were immaculate and had lovely warm showers. |

Only slight comment would be that the games room needs updating. There was only 1 pool cue and the balls only came out if we lifted the table. |

| The site itself is very good / very nice . All facilities very good / clean . Our problem was we have a 7.4 Motorhome with a back axle overhang , a spare wheel under it . We had a hard standing pitch but the hills to negotiate getting on to that are steep. Site is good for Motorhome under 6.8 meters . Apart from this an excellent site for Children . Very good park and games room for them . Owners / stroke wardens very friendly and helpful . |
| This is our second 2 week camping here over the ‘summer’. The site is well laid out, so it never feels busy. The communal areas are always clean and well maintained. The washing machines and driers work well. My teenage son loved to games lodge and I enjoyed those moments of peace. Can’t fault this place, people are friendly, the pitches usually have some sort of cover, so you get shade, should it be hot. The pitch was 9m square, the tent is quite big, just so you can see the scale. |
| We did like the pitch itself. A little walk to the toilet facilities..with rain in the middle of the night a bit far. But the toilets and shower were very nice and clean! Nice playground and play area. The campsite is perfectly situated in Cornwall. We did realy like our stay. |
| We had a wonderful stay at Tehidy holiday Park. Richard and Julia were very friendly & helpful, with any questions I had before and during our stay. The caravan we stayed in was well equipped, clean and presented well. The WiFi was slower in the evening but likely due to the high volume of guests using. The site itself was well maintained, easy to access, has x2 fast EV charging points, and rubbish/recycling was removed on a daily basis. The site is within a drivable distance to lots of gorgeous beaches and supermarkets not far too! We had a great stay! |
| We have previously stayed here in one of the static caravans. We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the facilities and how friendly and helpful the management were. We upgraded to a cottage for this stay as we were accompanied by our daughter and our 8 year old grandson. Positives: Nate loved the large play area and also made use of the club room containing a pool table and football table. The cottage itself was spotless with a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher. The location is within minutes of two excellent beaches, Portreath and Porthtowan. During the holiday season the large car park at Porthtowan is free after 4 p.m. St Ives and St Agnes are also close with Newquay and Falmouth both about half an hour away. Negatives: Only real problem we suffered was with the WiFi. This had been fine previously, but inside the cottage it varied between patchy and nonexistent. Go out the front door and it immediate had full power. |

| We stayed for a week and it was great. We wanted a small family friendly site due to one of daughters having asd and it was great. No noise in the evenings and it felt safe and secure. All the grounds were well kept. The playarea was enjoyed by our children but could do with a couple of swings but they had fun. The family bathroom was great for us with 3 children, the main showers could do with some where to put shower gel when showering and a hook on the door to put stuff but all was nice and clean. |

An improvement would be to have toilet paper that was not extra narrow and so soft it disintegrated on use! Used many more sheets than normal so not economic for you. | We haven’t been to Cornwall for 6 years and after looking on line found Tehidy Holiday Park. The campsite is in a great position for travelling around Cornwall and also has some great walks nearby, Tehidy Country Park and a trail accessed from the campsite to name a few. My son also ran everyday to Portreath Beach not too far away and we spent a day at Porthowan Beach, another beach about 3.5 miles from the campsite. The campsite itself was very clean and had great facilities for young and old. The caravan we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had all the items you would need for your stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The local village is not too far away and we went a few times to the local pub which had a great atmosphere and was very friendly. Although the weather wasn’t great when we were there there was still plenty to see and do in Cornwall. I would definitely recommend Tehidy Holiday Park and hopefully we will be back one day soon. |
| Very close to our favourite beaches such as Godrevy and Chapel porth (we chose the campsite due to its location) The new ladies showers /toilets are great ! Very clean This year we camped nearer to the road which was very noisy so next time we would ask to go back onto the superior pitch as it wasn’t as noisy there. As a whole the park is very clean & tidy |

| Owner of the site lives there so is ready to help. It is peaceful, great for families to reconnect as there is no noisy club house or arcade. It is great for all ages as local to many beaches and places to visit. Would definitely recommend to all those that want a quiet site in a great location. |

| This was our first time at Tehidy holiday park and we have to say what a lovely little place this is. Conveniently located to visit the beautiful scenery and attractions in Cornwall. The park is tucked away in an enclosed small valley with all the conveniences which are kept spotlessly clean to a high standard. It has secluded pitches for privacy with electricity should you require it. There is a well-maintained children’s play area for the little ones to burn off their energy. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful at all times. Overall a quiet camping site near the A30 with great access routes to many popular places of interest in Cornwall. We would be very happy to recommend Tehidy holiday park and look forward to returning again in the future. |

| We had our first stay here at Tehidy, and loved the park. We had a nice warm welcome on arrival with a detailed map of what’s available to use/do and had a nice clean caravan with a parking spot next to the caravan for easy unloading. There was a nice little park for my kids to go on whilst being able to view from the window and a games room. The park was quiet and peaceful and in a great location to local beaches we went on. I liked having a washing line for our wetsuits each day so it could dry as best it could. I will definitely look to come back next summer! |
| Good – We were very impressed with the caravan, very clean and I am sure very new. Fabulous views and not too close to neighbouring caravans. A good central place to visit all local beaches. Good information held with in the caravan Trickey’s restaurant was the place to go, food was very good. Obstacles according to us Very hilly and awkward to manage suitcases on the incline, (but we are not fit and young). Would benefit from a second rail to get up the steps to the caravan. Instructions on use of cooker, microwave , shower would be useful |

| Spotless family room with baby bath and changing table Great little play park and trampoline. Added bonus that you can supervise the kids whilst prepping dinner as the tent pitches are around the play area It was a little drizzly so we used the games room, complete with story books, comfy seating and a football and pool table for teens and adults. Just like I remembered as a kid but with all the added bonuses that make bringing little ones a joy, I never clocked how well set up it was 25 years ago! A great place to stay. |
| I already knew the area, having lived my early years in the vicinity and still having family in the area so I chose Tehidy Caravan park knowing exactly where it was – and that it suited me in terms of easy access to the North Cornish Coast in a tranquil setting. It was a perfect choice for my needs. The caravan was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I return to the area, I can’t imagine choosing to stay anywhere else. |

The site is close to a busy road you may want to consider ,but caused us no real issues as the traffic eases pretty early. Weather was not good during our weekend stay ,but thats part of good old british weather. |
| Stayed in one of the Wigwams for 6 nights. Lovely relaxing holiday. The campsite is flawlessly maintained and the facilities and wigwam were spotless. The wooded setting and amount of green around was very much appreciated. A good base to get to a number of places to visit. Would definitely recommend. |
| The location is close to all the beaches, and the staff is very helpful, I am amazed by the cleanliness that I found when I arrived and everything is well placed, right in the park, you have a playground for children, a place to make a barbecue, local shops very close only 1 mile.we will definitely come back.thanks tehidy park |
| Good of variety of accommodation to suit all. Well kept and wildlife friendly grounds – we heard woodpeckers : ) A lovely wooded valley. Would recommend to families and couples alike. Although we did not use the camping pitches they looked very nice and well spaced with the all usual additional facilities. Static caravans were very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lots to see and do locally with beaches close by. Our highlights were watching the seals swimming at Godrevy, and the King Edward mining museum. Not forgetting the Pasties, choose your favourite supplier but ours was Philps at Hayle an excellent steak pasty. A 5*+ thank you to all the team who make it so special, we really do hope to return soon. |
| This was our 4th time staying at Tehidy Holiday Park and honestly we would never stay anywhere else now when visiting Cornwall. It’s fabulous – extremely clean, tidy, quiet, helpful staff, the caravans are lovely and modern inside and the playground is great. The location is also very handy for many of the beautiful Cornish beaches. We have always had a wonderful time here with lots of happy memories. Looking forward to coming back again. |

| Having been to bigger holiday parks this was a breathe of fresh air so well run beautiful surroundings and so clean and neat cannot find fault with anything staff very friendly helpful and hardworking.was very pleasantly surprised about the price especially for Cornwall .Very well situated for visiting surrounding areas if you have a car not so good if you haven’t we will definitely be back all the family loved it especially my grandchildren with the park area amazing holiday thank you all |
| Lovely little site , very quiet and tucked away. Loved the natural feel with the beautiful garden hedgerows. Staff were friendly and available. We asked for a new frying pan and it was sorted instantly. Park was a hit with our 9 yr old and seemed to be a natural gathering point for the kids on the site to spend time together. Very safe with one way system and keyed barrier entry. Would recommend to anyone as its situated close enough to drive to most places around Cornwall so a great base for a holiday |

| Greeted by staff as if we were old friends! In the lead up to the holiday, any emails were answered promptly and politely and arrival and check in ran smoothly and quickly. The 2 bedroom cottage was modern and clean and very comfortable with a lovely little courtyard in which to enjoy the brief sunshine! We didn’t need the children’s playground or campsite facilities, but they all looked well-maintained and attractive. A welcoming site and one we can’t wait to come back to! |

| Richard is always happy to recommend beaches, places to buy pasties and all the staff are very friendly. The showers are lovely and hot and all facilities are kept clean throughout the day. The kids love playing on the trampoline and using the pool table. It is 10mins from the lovely Porth Towan beach where you can hire wet suits, surf boards and get drinks/icecreams to keep everyone happy. |

| Caravan was clean, and everything in the van was adequately supplied. Used the washing machine, all worked fine. Tehidy is nicely placed to visit beaches, and other attractions, with easy access to A30. We visited Port Isaac, Tintagel, Cape Cornwall, Mousehole, Glendurgan, and Trelissick Gardens it was great. |
| This was a one night only stay as we had travelled from Hampshire to collect a puppy from a local breeder. We enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend it to others. Excellent facilities block, newly refurbished to a high standard. The site was very well managed, clean and tidy. Welcomed by the very friendly owner and made to feel at home. |
| We had a smashing time spending with family..,we hired 3 cottages which were close to each other.. they were very clean and had everything we needed there.. the only issue i would say was the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The location was very good with lovely view when looking out the window.. The youngsters enjoyed the games room and trampoline.it was a very friendly place, we saw some beautiful places whilst there and some good places to eat. Look forward to booking with you again.. |

| Because my husband has mobility issues when I made my booking I did mention this. We were not disappointed when we arrived. It was right next door to our accommodation. The caravan was clean and everything which you would have needed ie kitchen utensils were available. The playground looked ideal if you had children in your party. We did see a couple of children having immense fun on the trampoline. Friendliness of the owner on arrival was excellent. |
| For the short stay we had I found the site tidy and quiet and well laid out with plenty of room between sites. Provision of external seating and washer line much appreciated. |
Tranquil setting beside beautiful woodland walks. Well set out pitches separated by mature hedgerows. Well maintained gardens, 5 star facilities that are kept spotlessly clean every day. Very friendly staff and owners. Pub and small Morrisons a short walk into Illogan ( and a pasty shop 😀). Regular bus service right outside the entrance. The owner even puts up a daily weather forecast and lists birds and animals to be seen on the lovely walks.
| Have stayed in a caravan and now a cottage on Tehidy Park. The Cottage is right at the top of a very steep hill so might be a problem for people arriving by taxi and having to get up and down the hill. Was a perfect size for 4 . There back was an absolute gorgeous sun trap with table and chairs and ample parking space at the front.. We will definitely be returning and Nothing was too much trouble for Richard and he was always available if needed. |
Very beautiful place, amazing holiday, lots of places to visit. The caravan that we were in was very comfy with all the amenities. From the place where the parc is situated we could easily reach stores like Aldi, Tesco etc. The petrol station is close enough as well, actually there are few more petrol stations. The beaches are close as well.
For my family this place is like a paradise and we will definitely visit it in the next future again.
Recently stayed for a week in a caravan and found it so relaxing and friendly. We have stayed several times and find the site well placed for all of Cornwall but also quiet and relaxing and away from some of the busier centres. The owners are really friendly and welcoming and everything is always clean and tidy. Definitely a hidden gem!
Stayed at Tehidy for 5 nights camping. Beautiful site with lovely facilities. Great location for exploring around the St Ives area. Great beaches within a few minutes drive. Would definitely stay again. Well maintained pitches with some lovely features. Our pitch had an undercover BBQ area which was perfect. Great park area too. Toilet/shower block was very clean. Pot washing sinks again spotless with cloths and wash liquid provided. Good little shop onsite too. Very helpful and friendly staff greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to staying again.

We loved our stay so much! I cannot wait to go again. This was my favourite holiday park, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff were helpful and nice. I have stayed here for the last 2 summers and always come back. I love how family oriented the site is which makes it perfect for families with young children. The location is amazing as well, really beautiful! Will be back again next year!
