Eco Friendly Holidays in Cornwall help make Helman Tor rewilding appeal a success

Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall is not only provides Eco friendly holidays but supports the rewilding projects carried out by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

As someone who donated to Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s work at Helman Tor nature reserve in the past, I wanted to get in touch to thank you and keep you posted on some of the exciting developments you’ve helped make possible.

Our rewilding efforts at the site have ramped up over the past year, with English longhorn cattle, Tamworth pigs, and beavers now all rootling, roaming, grazing, and gnawing across various sections of the reserve. The beavers are busy creating wetland, whilst the herbivores are helping to maintain and shape the patchwork of different habitats that are so important for biodiversity on this special site. All of this is contributing to our ambitions of letting nature take the lead across the reserve.

We are looking to support the CWT further this year, for the next stage of their regenerative plans.
