To give you an example of just how much you can see, do and explore in a short space of time, we’ve put together a mini guide to 72 hours in Cornwall, packed with some of our favourite activities…

Ice Skating at the Eden ProjectDay 1:

Morning: Start off your day with a visit to one of the UK’s most iconic visitor attractions – the Eden Project. Explore the magnificent rainforest and Mediterranean biomes at this educational charity. A must visit for anyone considering short breaks in Cornwall!
Afternoon: Head to one of the dozens of fantastic beaches nearby and soak up some Cornish sunshine! Porthtowan, Chapel Porth and Godrevy beaches are all just a skimming stone’s throw from our Cornwall holiday park! Enjoy a relaxing stroll on the golden sands or sit back and soak up the sun!
Evening: Visit the nearby town of St Agnes, which is just a short drive up the north coast. This pretty little village is tucked away into an unspoilt spot on the coast. It’s packed with great pubs and top quality restaurants… perfect for your evening meal.

Morning: Cornwall has a long and distinguished history mining tin and copper and parts of the county have been designated a UNESCO World Site as a nod to its past as a world leader. Spend the morning visiting some of the county’s most notable former tin mines – head west and visit the likes of Geevor and Levant tin mines, perched on the cliff tops. These two mines were also as film locations for Poldark
Afternoon: Are you ready for some thrill-a-minute rides and non-stop entertainment? Well, head to Flambards near Helston where you can enjoy rollercoaster rides and much more! Flambards is one of Cornwall’s most popular attractions and there’s plenty to do on site for the whole family.
Evening: Visit Truro, Cornwall’s only city. It may be small but Truro is a beautiful city jam packed with nice cafes, bars and restaurants – perfect for exploring and sampling of an evening! If you get there early enough a visit to the cathedral is a must!

Morning: It’s time to lace up those walking boots! The South West Coast Path meanders its way around Cornwall’s spectacular coast, with some truly breathtaking stretches available to enjoy. You can pick the path just a short drive from our holiday park.
Afternoon: Head west to see one of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks – St Michaels Mount. Time it right and you can walk across the causeway at low tide to this mystical island castle. No short break in Cornwall is complete without a visit here!
Evening: Whether you want to party the night away, enjoy a quiet drink overlooking Fistral Beach or want to enjoy a sumptuous meal in a restaurant with views out over the bay, a visit to Newquay should definitely be on your list! This vibrant resort is well worth a visit in the early evening.
