There are several paths that lead up to Brown Willy, one of the best is the one from the Forestry Commission car park at the end of the long straight road that leads from the A39 just before you leave Camelford (heading north) and runs up through Tregoodwell and Higher Parkwallis to Bodmin Moor. From this car park the path leads over an old clapper bridge over the low point between Showery Tor and Little Rough Tor then down into the valley before leading up to Brown Willy. The views of Bodmin Moor are fantastic from here. But remember Bodmin Moor is about so much more than Brown Willy try the Hurlers or the Cheesewring for a gentle walk, some spectacular rock formations, folk tales and scenery.
