We are very pleased to say we have again been given 'Gold' in the David Bellamy Conservation Awards. A big thank you for all the wonderful reviews our visitors gave us. Please read some of the comments posted on the site, they come directly from comment cards returned to David Bellamy.David Bellamy Conservation Awards are made each year to parks which can demonstrate policies showing active concern for the environment. Assisted by local nature groups and holidaymakers themselves, David Bellamy looks at virtually every aspect of park management - from the protection of plant and animal habitats to the efficient use of energy and recycling. Helping visitors to understand conservation is also considered an important qualifying feature. Three levels of excellence can be achieved : Gold, Silver and Bronze.
You can look forward to enjoying a holiday close to nature, and a true taste of Cornwall. As they say in Cornwall 'Proper Job'.
Good news comes in six’s
1. Holiday Caravan Park and Holiday Village of the Year 2010 - bronze award. During 2010 a mystery visitor spent a holiday at Tehidy Holiday Park and their report was used by the judges of Visit Cornwall as a basis for the awards. We've since recieved our feedback and the report was lovely, thank you mystery visitor!!
2. In 2010 we once more gained our David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. This is the highest rating a park can receive.
3. In 2010 Tehidy Holiday Park was awarded one of the Top 100 Sites in UK - Practical Caravan
4. In 2010 Tehidy Holiday Park aws awarded one of the Top 50 Sites in UK - Practical Motorhome
5. In 2009 'Cornwall today' nominated us as one of the top 10 parks in Cornwall.
6. In 2008 Tehidy |HOliday Park was awarded Holiday Park of the Year 2008- - Shires lifestyle Magazine.
What’s new this year
Wifi was introduced in 2009 and has good coverage over most of the site. In 2010 it was made free to all guests, it is a great help when it comes to finding what's on, weather, etc.
The new Platinum range of 3 bedroom caravan has been a great success. We are getting another one this year to meet demand. Take a look at our new video link to view the park and accommodation.
Thank you for the suggestions to improve our photo selection for the accommodation types. The new layout lets you see what your getting. We appreciate that choosing a place for your holiday can be a bit of a lottery and the more information you have helps you to make that all important decision. Our website is designed to give you a real feel for what our site is like. We have included pictures and visitors comments to help.

Being Carbon neutral is an aim for many 'Green' businesses and individuals. This means you somehow remove the same amount of carbon from the air as you produce directly or indirectly through the electricity, water, gas, petrol, etc.
The amount of carbon the site produces has been reduced by approximately 60 tonnes in the last 3 years.
Trees remove carbon from the air and tree planting is seen as a way to 'offset' your carbon footprint.
We estimate that the trees on site remove 540 tonnes MORE carbon than the site produces.
You can look forward to a Green holiday.
Our wireless internet has gone live. All the site is covered but signal strenghth does vary, most is good. It goes with being in a valley with so many trees. The games room has a good signal and has the added benefit of sockets to plug into.

We were looking through 'Cornwall today' magazine, which has been voted top regional magazine in the UK, and were interested to see a feature on the top 10 parks in Cornwall. Guess what, we were one of them. A very pleasant surprise, thank you cornwall today.
