The Hurlers standing stones near Minions, Bodmin Moor
The Hurlers standing stones are near the village of Minions on the Southern edge of Bodmin Moor. The lovely walk from Minions takes in the Hurlers and other standing stones and natural rock formations. On a sunny day they look spectacular and on a misty day they look ‘other worldy’ The Hurlers, legend has it, are the remains of men who played Cornish Hurling, on a Sunday, and were transformed to stone as a punishment. The Hurlers and Minions are approximately 35 minutes from Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall.
