King Harry Ferry
The King Harry Ferry is a chain link car and passenger ferry that runs The Roseland Peninsular and is the perfect way to visit St Mawes, saving a 26mile road route from Truro. St Mawes is a stunning village set above the Fal and has a castle, built by Henry 8th overlooking the estury mouth, as does the one in Falmouth. The ferry crosses the Fal Estuary from below Trelissick Gardens. Trelissick gardens are a wonderful place to visit and have a lovely walk along the picturesque Fal Estaury. You can also get to this beautiful spot by ferry from Truro which stops at Trelissick on it’s way to St Mawes and Falmouth, this is a passenger ferry only, so not suitable if you want to explore the Roseland by car. King Harry ferry is only 25 minutes fro Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall.
