Great Places to eat near Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall – Tinners Arms
One of my favourite pubs – the ‘Tinners Arms’ at Zennor just below St Ives. It’s in Zennor, just off the coast road between St Ives and Lands End. This bit of the Cornish coast is more rugged, like a cross between Dartmoor landscape and the Cornwall coast you think of. The pub itself dates back to 1200′s and has a great old world charm, good food and drink too. Zennor is just off the coast road and a short walk down the valley takes you to Zennor Head on the coastal footpath. A favourite way to get here is to park at St Ives or just below, or at Pendeen Watch below Zennor and walk along the coastal footpath to Zennor Head then up to the pub. Each route is between 3 to 8 miles depending on where you park. This section of the footpath is spectacular but rugged, decent shoes or walking books are needed.
