Lanhydrock House is Bluebell Heaven
Lanhydrock House is a wonderful place for a walk any time of the year…… BUT on May 4th the head ranger is taking guests on a bluebell walk in the woods. For more information visit the National trust website and choose Llanhydrock. This is one of many places for a walk in the bluebells near the site. Tehidy Country Park offers superb walks too. Lanhydrock House and estate are a great place to visit any time of the year. If you park in their main car park you can take a circular walk through the estate and by the river. To do it turn left along the lane outside the car park and keep heading down hill to the bridge. On the far side of this picturesque bridge you’ll find a path on the right, follow thuis through the woods, by the river, until you get to a small pedestrian bridge (this was our kids favourite Pooh Sticks spot when they were little). The path leads on through the woods to the gates at the bottom of the drive that leads to the house. If you follow the drive on past the house you’ll end up at the car park again.
