The spring sunshine continues and the countryside is looking wonderful. Being in the valley means Tehidy Holiday Park is very sheltered and makes the most of the warmth. T shirts and people on the play area, particularly the trampoline. Cattle Egrets have migrated from Africa and are building nests on the estuary below Truro, opposite Malpas. They are perfectly sited to watch them while enjoying a pint outside the aptly named Heron Inn.
The long range weather forecast is good, similar to 1976, a long hot summer. Lets hope it's right and the BBC don't mention BBQ summers yet.
