As our regular visitors know we are always looking at ways to improve the site and facilities and make them more eco friendly too. We have now developied a disabled/ family room in the shower block for campers, its a fully equipped wet room with raiser bars, baby changing facilities, hand drier, hair drier and everything else you would hope for. Please note wheelchair users will require assistance on site due to the nature of the valley setting. We've fitted it with some great green features too. Hot water for the shower comes from our solar thermal system, a sun tube provides light and an occupancy sensor turns on the electric light when needed. Another sensor turns on the extractor fan when the room is occupied too. Access will be by key and limited to those with registered disabilities and children under 3. Campers have been showing a lot of interest in what we're doing and love the sun tube.
