Turn left at the site entrance and straight over the roundabout in Illogan. At Mary's Well turn right down the mining heritage trail. After approx 100m turn left following trail signs again. follow the signs to Portreath. Approx 2 1/2 miles in total, some road and some beautiful trail bits, some hills. This route can be used to take you to the Coast to Coast 'Tramways Trail'.
